"The Imitation Game" star Keira Knightley interviewed by Jian Ghomeshi

Keira appreciation post because I just feel that she is such a genuine class act. This is a great interview highlighting her new film’s importance - touching on WWII, moral dilemmas, the treatment of homosexual men during the 40s, as well as gender equality. She speaks so eloquently about the topics that make up the film’s core and so gracefully as she addresses sexism as it affected women then, and how it still permeates today.

after being infuriated from reading Taylor Swift’s Rolling Stone interview last night that is peppered with contradiction and faux feminism - I am relieved to wake up to Keira’s effortless poise.
