i’ve returned

from Washington D.C.
my adventures were extraordinary
the reunion was marvelous
food was delightful
monuments were monumental

i’m happy to have experienced D.C. now, but visiting during grade school would have created a fondness and applicability of american history that could have really aided my learning process.
